RESOLUTION 93 -37 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> A RESOLUTION RFJECTlNG ALL BIDS AND AUTHORIZING <br /> SOUCITATION OF BIDS FOR <br /> REFURBISHING FERNWOOD STREET WATER 'lOWER <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution 93-21, competitive bids were solicited and received for <br /> Alternates 1 and 2 as set forth in the bid tabulation attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> WHEREAS the City Council has received information that the documents were interpreted <br /> differently by various bidders; and <br /> WHEREAS neither the low or second lowest bidder incorporated all portions of the defined <br /> project in his bid; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RFSOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> . 1. The Ma)'or and City Administrator are authorized and directed to reject all bids, on <br /> behalf of the City. <br /> 2. Maier Stewart & Associates, Inc., shall be instructed to modify the plans and <br /> specifications regarding the areas to be painted. <br /> 3. The City Administrator is authorized to advertise for solicitation of bids for structural <br /> modifications and refurbishing of the water tower, removal of paint, and repainting all <br /> surfaces, exterior and interior, according to the modified plans and specifications.
