Attached is a graph outlining the trend in the reduction of water <br /> purchases due to the reduction of use of water. <br /> 6. Mr. Filla has advised the City that the Consent Decree with Oak Grove <br /> Sanitary Landfill Site Trust has not yet teen filed with the Federal <br /> District Court. Some additional amendments are occurring which will not <br /> involve the City of Arden Hills. When those matters are completed, the <br /> Oaks Grove Trust will file the document. '!he city's interest <br /> obligations l:egan with the filing of the proposed Consent Decree with <br /> the Federal District Court. The City's payment obligations begin after <br /> a review period when a Federal District Court Judge actually signs the <br /> . Consent Decree. '!he review process will be at least ninety days and can <br /> be longer. '!here is nothing that we can do to prevent interest from <br /> accruing in l:etween the time that the Consent Decree is filed and the <br /> time that it is signed by a Federal District Court Judge. <br /> 7. '!he City Council is invited to attend a legiSlative cornrnittee meeting of <br /> the RCLlG. The meeting will be on Monday, October 11 at 12: 00 noon at <br /> Bigelow's Tavern in the Sheraton Midway Hotel. This corrnnittee is l:eing <br /> re-grouped for various purposes such as the Gun Violence Task Force <br /> Report; the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District legislation; and <br /> update and review of the Ramsey County legislation package for 1994. '!he League of Minnesota cities invites you to their regional meeting <br /> being held on October 21 at the Park Inn International, 1501 Freeway <br /> Blvd, Brooklyn Center.
