. In the event that the current Council Charober area is able to be utilized,
alternative space for Council and Planning Conunission would be needed.
Attached is additional information regarding research on possible meeting
locations.
I would recommend that outside rental not be =nsidered, primarily due to
cammunication issues.
Least expensive option: 'Ibe minimal changes to the current Council Olambers
and Recreation offices are by far the least =stly, bIt the trade off is in
the noise and traffic factors and having to move the Council meeting location.
Modular unit: This mid-expense option would' allow the Council to remain at
City Hall for meetings, however, roof runoff fram City Hall would need to be
addressed. The current backdoor located in the Council Charobers, =u1d be the
connection point, however, this arrangement would cover the two windows on the
south. A "T" shape addition would reduce one of two offices available in the
unit.
Remodeling of current space: While being the IlIOSt expensive option, this
option provides the best noise and traffic control, leading to the best
situation for productivity, and providing the additional storage need<?cl.
DAP:rk
.
.
- ----.-
