<br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> . RESOLUTION NO. 93-62 <br /> A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION #93-46 <br /> RELATING TO THE BID & CONTRACT IN THE MATTER <br /> OF THE 1993 ARDEN PLACE <br /> DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Arden Hills had prepared and approved <br /> Plans and Specifications for the Arden Place Drainage <br /> Improvement of 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the city council took action on the award of the bid <br /> for the Arden Place Drainage Improvement project <br /> subject to review by the city Attorney; and <br /> WHEREAS, Public Hearings were held to receive public input on <br /> both the project and the proposed special assessments, <br /> and such hearings were continued; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the continuance of the hearings and <br /> interim discussions between the City and the affected <br /> property owners, the principle property owners have <br /> been allowed to construct the improvement with some <br /> financial participation by the City; and <br /> . WHEREAS, the property owners of 3505 Ridgewood Road and 1553 <br /> Arden Place, contractor Wally Bauer and the City of <br /> Arden Hills have joined together in a private cost <br /> sharing agreement to address the drainage issue in a <br /> different manner than originally envisioned; <br /> WHEREAS, it is no longer necessary to pursue the construction <br /> of the Arden Place Drainage Improvement as a public <br /> improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter <br /> #429 <br /> N~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Arden Hills <br /> rescinds Resolution #93-46. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS THIS 29TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1993. , <br /> - <br /> THOMAS R.
