Staff to outline <br /> the rules to follow to research and pursue <br /> the issues, and give technical data support. <br /> Council generally concurred. <br /> It was noted that every other month, one <br /> Chairperson should be scheduled to appear at <br /> a worksession or other scheduled meeting with <br /> Council, to discuss their committee projects. <br /> TOBACCO COMPLIANCE <br /> PROJECT Administrator Person noted that a grant is <br /> currently available to research the selling <br /> of tobacco products to minors. Other <br /> neighboring cities are being requested to <br /> participate in this project. The cost to the <br /> . City would be $50.00. <br /> Council concurred that while they do not <br /> particularly like "sting" operations, they <br /> are willing to participate. Staff was <br /> directed to proceed with the project. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> COMMENTS Councilmember Malone stated he participated <br /> in a meeting with the members of the Arden <br /> View Townhome Association to discuss the <br /> Storm Water Management rate being charged to <br /> the residents of the townhomes. He further <br /> stated that the formula and math used to <br /> compute the rate may not be appropriate for <br /> this property when looking at less density, <br /> and less runoff. There is more land than <br /> other townhome properties, however maximum <br /> buildout should be a consideration. He <br /> further stated that the townhome association <br /> is researching what other cities charge for <br /> their SWM rate. Council concurred to discuss <br /> this issue with the Association at their <br /> January worksession. <br /> . <br />
