It was noted that every other month, one Chairperson should be scheduled to appear at a worksession or other scheduled meeting with Council, to discuss their committee projects. TOBACCO COMPLIANCE PROJECT Administrator Person noted that a grant is currently available to research the selling of tobacco products to minors. Other neighboring cities are being requested to participate in this project. The cost to the . City would be $50.00. Council concurred that while they do not particularly like "sting" operations, they are willing to participate. Staff was directed to proceed with the project. COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilmember Malone stated he participated in a meeting with the members of the Arden View Townhome Association to discuss the Storm Water Management rate being charged to the residents of the townhomes. He further stated that the formula and math used to compute the rate may not be appropriate for this property when looking at less density, and less runoff. There is more land than other townhome properties, however maximum buildout should be a consideration. He further stated that the townhome association is researching what other cities charge for their SWM rate. Council concurred to discuss this issue with the Association at their January worksession. .
