. Administrator Comments 2 January 7, 1994 infonnational session regarding the 1994 Pavement Maintenance Ilrprovement program. Included in this program is propose::1 reconstruction of Bussard Court, Dunlap Avenue, Amble Drive and Keithson Drive. It will be held in the Public Works Garage in order to acconunodate the number of possible residents who :may atten:i. B. Keithson Drive - It has been unclear whether the COuncil wishes to continue this project in the 1994 Pavement Management program, and if so, whether assessments are expected. 'Ihe anticipated cost of the road for cold in place recycling is $22,800 (plus approxill'ately 130 feet of =b which is considered a maintenance item) . 'Ihe road has been patched in 1992 and in 1993 the utility connection area was repaired foll""'ing a water leak. 1992 had patches to level dips in the road in the area where water and sewer service was installed. Clarification is request as to whether your intent is to include Keithson Drive in the 1994 Pavement Management program and whether assessments are to be made. V. Planning A. Recycling - 'Ihe 1993 recycling program was $7,000 under budget, recycling 700 tons. . B. Recreational Vehicle ordinance - 75 complaint calls have been received out of the 220 letters mailed recently referring to enforcement of the city ordinance relating to storage. Of the calls, ltlOSt s~ly needed clarification that this letter was only a reminder and did not indicate to them that they were in violation. Only a few continued voicing disagreement with the ordinance. A few actually voice support of the ordinance. c. Planning Corrnnission Recommendations for Council review at their 1- 31-94 Council meeting: (minutes to foll"", at worksession) 1. Ryder /Reco public hearing regarding amendment to all"", bus terminals in R-1 District - 4-2 vote to deny. 2. Ryder/Reco public hearing regarding special use permit to operate a bus terminal at 1910 W. County Road F - 3-3 vote (tie) 3. 'Ihatcher Chiropractic/Firstar - sign request at 4061 North Lexington Avenue - appeal of administrative decision to deny. 6-0 vote to uphold administrative review. Mr. 'Ihatcher is requesting that his appeal be heard by Council at their January 10, 1994 COuncil meeting. See memo fram Brian Fritsinger for more infornation. .
