Ashbach for driveway access to a lot proposed for <br /> subdivision within the city of Arden Hills. We were informed <br /> that the city would not permit the subdivision until access was <br /> clearly identified. <br /> . After reviewing the proposal, Ramsey County staff recommended <br /> that the County Board consider a land exchange that provides <br /> driveway access to the proposed subdivision and results in no <br /> net loss of parkland. <br /> The Ramsey County Horne Rule Charter, section 2.02 (K) empowers <br /> the County Board to undertake this transaction; however, the <br /> County Board must hold a public hearing after first providing <br /> at least twenty (20) days written notice of the hearing date to <br /> the municipality in which the property is located and to all <br /> owners of land within 1,000 feet of the real property. <br /> Enclosed is a copy of the notice of public hearing that is <br /> being sent to all property owners within 1,000 feet of the <br /> property.
