m

.

TRAFFIC CIRCULATION PLAN ~

1. Schematic Circulation:

_ Provides alternative traffic route for businesses fronting on
Lexington Avenue. When a median on Lexington is constructed,
northbound vehicles will not be able to make left turns in to
or out of the businesses. Schematic plan would allow traffic
to use the signalized intersections at either Red Fox or Grey
Fox Roads. The new access street to the rear of the Lexington
fronting parcels would bring traffic to and from Red Fox and
Grey Fox Roads.

_ Inter-connections between properties would allow traffic to
circulate between the businesses without disrupting Lexington
Avenue traffic.

_ Shannon Square drives and parking would be connected with the
old Gould building drives and parking, again gaining access to
the signalized Grey Fox/Lexington intersection and allowing
circulation between the businesses without traveling on
Lexington.

_ The plan will work whether or not the area to the west is
redeveloped, and could be a temporary or permanent solution
until further development decisions are made. ~

-28-

----~
