Minutes Page 2 02-17-94 . SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE SUB-COMMITTEE - This committee has not had a chance to meet yet. The committee is looking for additional members. Some information was discussed. Arnie Delger has policies from Roseville, Shoreview, and New Brighton. Arnie Delger stated equipment costs could be as high as $50,000. The sub-committee will ask Council how they feel about cleaning and maintaining sidewalks. Arnie stated that the liability issue will need to be reyiewed. Next Agenda - 1994 goals, objectiyes, mission statement, COUNCIL REPORT - DENNIS PROBST . The Ryder bus garage issue has not yet been resolved. Council has denied the re-zoning. Staff needs to identify Special Use Permit issues in an R-1 district. This may allow the bus company to stay in the R-1 zone. . Arden Place storm-sewer project has started and will be completed soon. . Committee policy for the stop sign request at Edgewater Ayenue and Prior Street will be reviewed by Council at the February 28, 1994 Council Meeting, . . The City has received a request to install a signalled intersection or a stop sign at Eide Circle and Hamline Avenue. Staff responded to this request and stated it isn't possible at this time. . All committee chairpersons will be meeting with Council at a later date to review and discuss 1994 goals and objectives. Mission statements should be formulated by all committee members. . There will be public meetings to discuss the T.C.A.A.P. property deyelopment on February 17, March 17, and April 21 at the T.C.A.A.P. Administrative Offices. . The committee may want to review how trash haulers operate in Arden Hills. Should each hauler be allowed to haul only one or two days a week, one single day or any combination of days. Should Arden Hills limit the number of haulers? Dick Roessler stated the Committee needs to adyertise for new members. The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m. .
