Conditions that must l:e met for stop sign to be oonsidered: <br /> A. Location must meet legal warrants <br /> B. Sign must l:e requested in writing to the Public Works <br /> Department, by <br /> i. Resident of Arden Hills <br /> ii. A staff member of Arden Hills, e. g., Engineer, <br /> Director of Parks and Recreation or a Councilrnernber <br /> II. Procedure : <br /> A. Upon receiving a written request, the Public Works <br /> SUperintendent will irwestigate the merits of the request <br /> and make a detennination. The decision will include reasons <br /> for or against the requested installation. It will also <br /> include the number of residencesjbusinesses that the Public <br /> . Works Superintendent estimates will be affected by the <br /> installation of a new stop sign. <br /> B. If the dete:rm:ination of the Public Works SUperintendent is <br /> to not install a new stop sign: <br /> i. The requesting party will be advised in writing of the <br /> decision . <br /> ii. The detennination may be appealed to the City <br /> Administrator. If further appeal is requested, it <br /> will be made to the City Council as the final <br /> authority. <br /> . <br />
