Motion carried unanimously (5-0) . <br /> REVIEW REQUEST FOR A CLASS A PREMISES PERMIT AT POT O'GOLD <br /> BINGO HALL FROM GOLDIE K. SIEDOW <br /> MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Hicks to adopt Resolution <br /> #94-20, approving a Bingo Hall License Renewal <br /> Application for a Class A Premises Permit at Pot <br /> O'Gold Bingo Hall from Goldie K. Siedow. Motion <br /> carried unanimously (5-0) . <br /> ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS: <br /> Administrator Person referred to her comments in the <br /> packet pertaining to the additional coverage for "Open <br /> Meeting Laws". Council concurred that they would not be <br />. inclined to purchase this additional coverage. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS: <br /> Councilmember Malone noted he was in favor of supporting <br /> the Hibbing and Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce <br /> Departments' request to support House File #1757, and to <br /> adopt a resolution. <br /> MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Hicks to adopt a <br /> resolution supporting increased protection from <br /> liability for private landowners who make their land <br /> available for public recreation without charge. <br /> Motion carried unanimously, (5-0) . <br /> Councilmember Malone noted that there is a new sign at <br /> Blue Fox. He asked staff whether they reviewed the <br /> original signage, and noted he thought the original sign <br /> was non-conforming in either the size or the location. <br /> Staff will review the original sign request and inform <br /> Council of their findings. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski noted that the Economic <br /> Development Committee has prepared their letters to the <br /> local businesses and they will be mailed shortly. <br />. <br />
