I am <br /> very interested In applying for one of the openings. <br /> I have lived in Arden Hills with my husband Clay and 3 children for 2 years. We are <br /> active in the community, and we intend to make this our home for many years to <br /> come. My husband has coached summer softball and fall soccer, and my daughter <br /> Emily has volunteered with recreation activities. <br /> . I lived in South Saint Paul for 12 years and was a member of the Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission for 6 years. During that tenure I was privileged to be <br /> involved in many worthwhile community projects. Please find enclosed a copy of a <br /> letter from Randee Nelson, Director of Parks and Recreation, and currently <br /> President of MRPA. <br /> During those 6 years I spent on the commission, I was involved with the <br /> successful passage of a $2 million dollar Parks bond referendum, took an active <br /> part in the budget process, helped coordinate many community activities involving <br /> the parks as well as, and many other general recreation activities.
