The <br /> first resolution determines the cost to be assessed, orders the preparation of the assessment <br /> roll, and sets the assessment hearing date for May 23, 1994. The second resolution <br /> establishes the assessment rates for 1994. As indicated earlier, it is recommended that the <br /> residential equivalent rate for street reconstruction remain at $29.27 per assessable front foot, <br /> which is the same rate as 1992, and that the cold in-place recycling assessment rate be <br /> lowered to $10.18 per assessable front foot from the $11.00 estimate presented at the public <br /> hearing. <br /> Weare in the process of reviewing references for the low bidder, Ashbach Construction, Inc. <br /> We will be prepared at the assessment hearing on May 23, 1994, to make a recommendation <br /> to the City Council to award the project to Ashbach Construction, Inc., as the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> If you have any questions, please call. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> .
