<br /> f .. <br /> 1 I. ANTENNAS, SATELLITE DISH ANTENNAS AND TOWERS. <br /> ~ <br /> ~ 1. ApplicabiJ.iJy. The regulations in this subsection shall .pply to' any antenna or tower. Dish <br /> antennas under thirty inches (30") in diameter, six (6) square feet in area, or six (6) feet in height, <br /> regardless of zoning district or type of mounting (roof, wall, ground or pole) .re exempted from <br /> these regulations, <br /> J 2. Sp.cial Use P.rmiI R.quind. Antamas, satellite dish antennas and lOwers are allowed only as <br /> specialllCCcssory uses. They are therefore allowed only on property C<lntaining . principal use <br /> 10 which the antenna, disb antenna or lOwer is accessory. No antenna, disb antenna or tower shall <br /> J hereafter be erected, constructed or placed, or re-erected, reconstructed or replaced without a <br /> speci.l use permit, except as exempied in paragr.lpb (I) immediately above. <br /> 1 3. H.ight. The beigbt of an anteona, dish antenna or lOwer sball be measured from the ground at <br /> the base of the antenna or lOwer 10 the higbest point of the antenna or lOwer. No antenna, dish <br /> antenna or tower shall exceed the following beigbtlimitations: <br /> j .. A dish antenna shall not exceed fifteen (15) feet in heigbt if ground or pole mounted and <br /> shall not extend more than twelve (12) feet above the roof if it is roof mounted. <br /> Regardless of these beigbt limitations, the ~t~nna shall be mounted as close 10 the <br /> , ground or roof as practical. . <br /> I <br /> b. No antenna or tower shall exceed a beigbt of seventy-five feet (75'). <br /> I c. No antenna or lOwer shaI1 exceed a height equal 10 the distance from the base of the <br /> tower 10 the nearest overhead electrical power line (except individual service drops), less <br /> five (5) feet. <br /> i. 4. LocatiJJn, Antennas and lOwers shall be Jocated on sites or buildings in areas that are the least <br /> obtrusive 10 nearby properties and public streets. Antennas or lowers shall be locat.ed only on sites <br /> 1 containing an allowable principal use. Antamas, dish antennas or lOwers shall not be allowed: <br /> , <br /> L Nearer the street than the principal building on the lot. <br /> b. Nearer the side or ""'" lot lines than the minimum side or rear yard setbacks for <br /> accessory uses as established in Soction V, F of this ordinance. <br /> c. Nearer 10 an adjoining property's buildable area than 10 the principal building on the site <br /> on which the anteona or tower will be placed. <br /> d. Nearer 10 any property line than the beigbt of the antenna or lOWer. <br /> 5. Numb.r of AnJ.1UUIS or Towers. <br /> a. In all residential districts, DO more than ODe (I) exempted antenna and DO more than ODe <br /> (1) antenna requiring a special use permit sball be allowed aD Doe (I) lot or pan:el. <br /> b.
