Attached is a letter of application fran Gregg Larson requesting <br /> to be app:linted to the Planning Ccmnission. No other letters or <br /> applications have been received. The City advertised in December <br /> 1993 that they needed residents to serve on various corrmittees. <br /> II. Unfinished and New Business <br /> a. The National Guard (Tan Ryan) is requesting assistance fran the <br /> City and County in the base sewer/water funding. This 1.O.1ld apply <br /> to the anticipated building of a maintenance garage at the Hwy 96 <br /> and Hamline area. This is not the oversizing for the City/County <br /> project, just the base. No arrount of rroney has been designated. <br /> . Further infonnation will be available M::lnday evening. <br /> b. Cellular One Antennae change request - Cellular One requests to <br /> increase the height on the North Water Tower fran 7 feet to 13 <br /> feet and to revise the antenna on the side. While this antenna <br /> agreement was entered into previously by addressing the Council, <br /> this request puts it out of canpliance with the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> It is recc:mrended that due to the changes in the contract <br /> requested, that this new request be forwarded to the Planning <br /> Comnission for review and recanuendation (see attached merro) . <br /> c. Job Evaluation system update - Pay equity review of Arden Hills <br /> indicates that a thorough review of =ent jobs is needed for <br /> clarification purposes. The changes in jobs that have oc=red <br /> also show that review of our ccmpensation system including job <br /> value and salary scales. <br /> Reference checks indicate that PDI is very thorough, adapts well <br /> to different sized organizations, and has gocd skills in '-'Orking <br /> with employees and Tl\3I1agers. It is reCCllltrerlded that POI be <br /> awarded the job evaluation project at a cost of $4,515. Start <br /> . date is anticipated to be before the end of May. <br /> . <br />
