ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION — APRIL 22, 2024 11 <br />F. Agenda Planning <br />City Administrator Perrault stated Council passed a process for setting agendas at its April 8th <br />City Council meeting. At that meeting, it called for Council to review upcoming agenda items and <br />decide if items should be added, removed, or pushed for future discussion. The intent is to give <br />Council control of its agenda and priorities. Below are topics Staff has planned for the May 13th <br />Worksession and the May 28th Worksession (note: items are tentative): <br />May 13th Worksession <br />• Compensation Study Update <br />• Capital Funding Follow Up <br />• Tobacco Moratorium Update <br />• Rain Garden Discussion <br />• RCC/TCAAP Discussion <br />• Agenda Planning <br />May 28th Worksession <br />• TH Highway 10 and Highway 96 Maintenance <br />• Old Highway 10 Trail Design Discussion <br />• Encroachment Discussion Update <br />• RCC/TCAAP Discussion <br />• Agenda Planning <br />City Administrator Perrault reviewed a list of topics that have yet to be discussed by Council, it <br />reflects the removal of items that have recently been discussed or are ongoing, such as, strategic <br />goal setting, proclamation policy and the encroachment discussion. Council may want to discuss <br />if any items need to be added to this list for future discussion or assign a future meeting for some <br />of these items. This would need to be done by a majority consensus of Council. <br />Councilmember Holden stated she would like to have Committees discussed at a future <br />worksession. <br />City Administrator Perrault stated he would be adding Role of the Committee/Commission <br />liaisons and Proclamations to a future worksession agenda. <br />Councilmember Holden asked how items could be added to a worksession agenda. <br />City Administrator Perrault explained per the consensus of the Council this would be <br />determined at the end of a worksession. <br />Councilmember Rousseau questioned if the May 13 worksession would begin at 5:00 p.m. <br />City Administrator Perrault reported the May 13 meeting would begin at 5:30 p.m. He stated <br />the June, July and August meetings be special worksessions and begin at 5:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Grant suggested the Twin Cities Gateway funding be discussed on either May 13 or May <br />28. <br />
