The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. <br /> 2. Present were: Steve Freimuth, Mary Miller, Jerry <br /> Moehnke, Arnold Lindberg, Trygve Egge, Community <br /> Planning Coordinator Fritsinger, Finance Liason Thomas <br /> Steele and Planning Liason Raymond McGraw. Absent were <br /> Dan McCallum, Tom Goblirsch, Rob Carlson JR, and <br /> Council liason Apilowski. <br /> 3. May 19. 1994 Minutes. <br /> Egge moved and Miller seconded the motion to approve <br /> the minutes with one correction. Item number 6 be <br /> deleted in it's entirety. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4. Bll~in~ss Contacts <br /> Mr. Moehnke indicated that no follow up had occurred on <br /> the 18 businesses identified as needing follow up. The <br /> . committee should be sure to divide up the 18 businesses <br /> between the committee members and follow up. <br /> Mr. Lindberg updated the committee on his contact with <br /> United Properties. There is the potential for a Deli <br /> to occupy the former Hauser's space in the Arden Plaza <br /> by this fall. The Deli would occupy only a portion of <br /> the space. Ace Hardware is considering leasing the <br /> remainder of the space for a garden center. <br /> Mr. Freimuth brought up the issue of a cooperative <br /> grocery store at the plaza. He indicated that it could <br /> possibly be tied into a business like Group Health. <br /> Mr. Moehnke discussed his contact with Northco. Northco <br /> sent him a list of available property in Arden Hills. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger indicated that he receives an updated <br /> list from the Real Estate Journal on available <br /> property. Staff will prepare a list for the committee <br /> members. Mr. Fritsinger reviewed the history of the 18 <br /> . businesses identified as having concerns. <br />
