RESOLUTION NO. 94-34 <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94-30 <br /> DETERMINING ASSESSED COST OF IMPROVEMENT, <br /> ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> AND SETTING THE ASSESSMENT HEARING DATE <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE 1994 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 94-30, the Arden Hills City <br /> Council determined that the City would assess <br /> $215,286.92 against benefitted parcels in connection <br /> with the 1994 Pavement Management Improvement project; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council's determination was based upon <br /> estimates received from the City Consulting Engineer <br /> as opposed to actual bid receipts; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is now in receipt of bids for the 1994 <br /> Pavement Management Improvement project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the actual low bid received and the project cost <br /> approved by the City Council is $437,608.12; and <br /> WHEREAS, based upon the City Assessment policy, it is <br /> determined that the portion of this improvement to be <br /> . paid by the City and not assessed to benefitted <br /> properties is $217,437.56; and <br /> WHEREAS, the portion of the cost to be assessed against <br /> benefitted properties pursuant to the City of Arden <br /> Hills Assessment policy shall be $220,170.56; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br /> l. That Resolution #94-30 is hereby amended to indicate that <br /> the City Council has determined that based upon the City'S <br /> Assessment policy, the assessed cost against benefitted <br /> property owners for the 1994 Pavement Management <br /> Improvement project will be in the amount of $220,170.56; <br /> and <br /> 2, That Resolution #94-30 is hereby amended to indicate that <br /> the City Council has determined that based upon the City's <br /> Assessment policy, that the portion of this improvement to <br /> be paid by the, City and not assessed to benefitted <br /> properties is $217,437.56; and <br /> 3 . That in all other respects Resolution #94-30 shall be in <br /> full force and effect. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS THIS 23RD DAY OF MAY, 1994. <br /> . <br /> THOMAS R.
