This revision was only one change recanrended by the City <br /> Attorney to provide additional clarifications in the area of transient <br /> merchants, <br /> I had Mr. Filla review both Chapter 13 of Arden Hills Municipal Code <br /> and the Zoning Ordinance to detennine if any additional changes are <br /> . required. The primary area that I requested his review was the "Open <br /> Sales Lots" definition. <br /> Based on these discussions, I =uld propose to wake sane minor changes <br /> which would avoid interpretation issues in the future, Item number <br /> one (1) is part of Planning Case #94-19. <br /> 1. Amend Section II, D, 125 of the Zoning Ordinance so that the term <br /> "Open Sales Lots" is specifically included in the last sentence <br /> of this definition, It =uld read as folla.vs; n.., M:>tor <br /> Vehicle-Sales, M:>tor Vehicle leasing and rentals, exterior <br /> equipment rental and sales lots, repair garages and open sales <br /> lots are not included in this definition of retail sales." <br /> The Planning Comnission unanimously approved the action at its July 6, <br /> 1994 meeting, Staff w:lUld recanrend that the City Council approve the <br /> amendment to the Zoning Ordinance as proposed by the City Attorney and <br /> approve Ordinance Number 299 as drafted. <br /> . <br />
