UPDATES <br /> A. There has been a question whether the Council, as a Public Meeting, can conduct <br /> public business on October 10, which is Columbus Day. The City of Arden Hills <br /> does not recognize this date as a holiday for City business; it will be business as <br /> usual. Attached is Minnesota Statute 645.44; subd 5, The last five lines of the <br /> first paragraph indicate that where Columbus Day and the Friday after <br /> Thanksgiving is not a holiday, public business may be conducted. <br /> .
