CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-51 <br /> RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER <br /> AS TOASTMASTER MONTH <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills wishes to recognize the efforts <br /> and accomplishments of Toastmasters International; and <br /> WHEREAS, Toastmasters International is the largest non-profit <br /> world-wide organization dedicated to communication and <br /> leadership excellence; and <br /> WHEREAS, Communication and leadership skills are vital skills <br /> insuring the continued growth of individuals and <br /> business in the United States and throughout the world; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, There are over 5,000 members in some 250 clubs <br /> throughout the State of Minnesota; and <br /> . WHEREAS, Toastmasters in Minnesota businesses, schools, <br /> communities, and organizations are dedicated to helping <br /> people improve their communication and leadership <br /> skills throughout the State; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br /> of Arden Hills, Minnesota hereby proclaim the month of October, <br /> 1994 to be Toastmaster Month. <br /> BE IT HEREBY PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 10TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1994. <br /> ATTEST: Dennis Probst, Mayor <br /> Dorothy A.
