SEC. 5.5-7.l. APPLICATION: INVESTIGATION; GRANT OR DENTAl, ~ OF RESIDENTT~ DOG KENNEL LICENSE. (a) A,p.v1i ca tion. Any oerson desirinq a residential doq kennel license shall make written aoolication therefore to the City Administrator uoon a form 9rescribed by and containina such informat.i.on as r~auired by the Ci ty Administrator. Among other things. the annlication shall contain the followinq information: (1) A description of the real estate pr0gerty unon which the dogs will be keot. Outside kennels must be constructed of suitable size to maintain and secure the keeoinq of oarticular breeds of dogs and to allow for sufficient s9ace for dogs to exercise freely. All surfaces must be constructed of material to orovide for 9r0ger cleaninq. drainage. maintenance and needs of the doqs. (2) A current rabies certificate and list of dog taqs for each dog in the dwellinq unit and\or kennel. (3 ) The snecies and number of dog'" ()VAT the age of three (3 ) month", to be maintained on the nremise", , (4) A statement that the a9plicant\license will at all times keep the animals in accordance with all the conditions prescrioed by the local animal control aaencv, or modification thereof. and that failure to maintain and\or obey such conditions will constitute a violation of the provision of this cha9ter and qrounds for cancellation of the license (5) Such other and further information as may be re~ired by the local animal control aqency. (b) Investigation by the local animal control officer: may arant license. The local animal control officer shall make such inve",tiqation as is necessary and may grant. deny or refuse to renew any aoolication for license under this cha9ter and may impo",e conditions to the arantinq of . the license. ------..------
