NOVEMBJ;;R 14, 1994 5 <br />. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski indicated confusion as to the impact of this grant to the City <br /> of Arden Hills and she would like more information also. <br /> Mayor Probst indicated support, but had reservations due to the lack of information. <br /> No action was taken at this time regarding participation of the grant application. <br /> PARTICIPATION IN MULTI.JURISDICTION ROAD MAINTENANCE STATE <br /> GRANT APPLICATION <br /> Mayor Probst indicated again the grant seems to be a good idea, but not all the <br /> information is available. Mayor Probst indicated currently the City is stock piling its <br /> own materials from street maintenance. Superintendent Winkel indicated currently the <br /> fill sites are city owned, but hazardous waste in the street clean up is now becoming an <br /> issue. <br /> Superintendent Winkel indicated this application was just received today and staff has <br /> not had sufficient time to review. <br />. Councilmember Malone also indicated the Arsenal has been suggested in the application <br /> as potential site for fill, <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski requested a recess to review the aIJPlication since the <br /> deadline would be tomorrow. <br /> Mayor Probst declared a 10 minute recess at 8:08 p.m. <br /> The meeting reconvened at 8:20 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski indicated it would be beneficial to share the opportunity and <br /> costs with other cities. <br /> Superintendent Winkel indicated concern fQr the location of the site at the Arsenal. <br /> Mayor Probst indicated support, but would recommend the language of the application <br /> be changed so a period (.) follows partners and the Arsenal be removed as a potential <br /> site. <br />. <br />
