As you are aware, the City of New Brighton has agreed that the <br /> MUNICIPAL midpoint of the 1-35W bridge should be considered the dividing line between the two <br />. FlANNING Cities. I believe this is the last obstacle which needed to be resolved prior to the City <br /> considering the resolution turning back County Road F from Ramsey County to the City <br /> SCUDWASiE <br /> STRUCTURAl of Arden Hills. <br /> SURVE"!NG <br /> ~ll.AH,C As you are aware, the average condition rating for County Road F between Old Snelling <br /> ~RANSFORTAIICN Avenue and the 1-35W bridge is 45.8, Plugging this into the County's funding equation <br /> results in a 96.5 % funding level, This means that the County will pay 96,5 % of the <br /> :LECRIC~L,: ,~EC:<A,~.,C':'L eligible items for the reconstruction of County Road F. The condition rating for this <br /> ::NGiNEE~ING segment is set, meaning that the percentage of fundable cost is also set. The dollar amount <br /> c,VA( would be established based on this percent and the actual construction cost for the <br /> ;O'NE~ DISiRiBUf:Cr-- reconstruction of County Road F, I believe at this time it would be appropriate for the City <br /> Sc.~CA Council to adopt the draft resolution prepared by Ramsey County to initiate the turnback <br /> SYSi:M CCNi~OLS process. <br /> .. <br /> If the City Council desires to move forward with the reconstruction of County Road F in <br /> 1995, we would also recommend that they consider the attached resolution which initiates <br /> the preparation of the feasibility study. We would also request the Council allow the <br /> survey work to begin immediately so that it can be completed prior to any-significant <br /> snowfall. We would recommend a project schedule be established which bids the project <br /> in the spring of 1995 such that a contractor can be ready to begin work as soon as the 1994- <br /> 1995 school session ends.
