Bethel College SWM Appeal .
Mr. Winkel and City Engineer Stonehouse have provided recommendations as follows
for the two aspects of this pending Surface Water Management (SWM) appeal: .
Rebate the associated Lake Valentine SWM charges ($2,943.35 per quarter) for
1)
first, second and third quarters of 1994. This corresponds to the March, 1994 date .
when this utility customer first advised the city of its intent to challenge the fees
charged for the Lake Valentine acreage. This action also recommends not
adjusting fees paid to the utility in 1993 from inception (second quarter 1993) .
through fourth quarter 1993.
2) Deny the remaining aspects of the customer appeal that include classification and .
associated rate per acre fees. The basis of Mr. Stonehouse's recommendation are
conformance with the original intent of the ordinance and the primary determinant .
being zoning classification and not current restrictions of a special use permit
(SUP).
-.
.
- ---
