<br />I <br />Ie 1\W~~ I:JJl.,I.S CITY COUNCIL - FEBRUARY 13 1995 5 <br />I <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />I Councilmember Hicks noted the letter received from Mr. Paul Tavernier. City Administrator <br /> Fritsinger indicated he has not yet been able to respond to this letter. <br />I Councilmember Malone requested information and discussion regarding Perry Park be added to' <br /> a meeting agenda in the near future. <br />I Councilmember Malone briefly updated Council on the Fire Board meeting and issue involving <br /> the reconstruction of station number two. <br />I Councilmember Keirn indicated she had attended the Newly Elected Officials Seminar and noted <br />I the Human Rights Committee's in other communities have reviewed job descriptions, personnel <br /> policies and ADA requirements. This may be a future project for the Committee. <br />I Mayor Probst reminded everyone of the meeting on Thursday, February 16, to be held with all <br /> committees and commissions. He indicated he had information regarding the Arsenal and also <br />I- this would give him an opportunity to introduce Mr. Fritsinger as the new City Administrator. <br /> He noted also that he will direct committees and commissions to set goals for 1995. Mayor <br /> Probst indicated he will appoint a Task Force for the TCAAP project at Thursday's meeting. <br />I Mayor Probst indicated he had received correspondence from School Superintendent Nygren and <br /> the School Board regarding a survey. Mayor Probst noted the Council will be meeting with the <br />I 621 School Board on March 13 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mayor Probst noted he had received a letter from a Mr. Mark Stack, a resident who would like <br />I to be on the Public Works and Safety Committee. Mayor Probst indicated he would like to <br /> appoint him at this time. <br />I MOTION: Hicks moved, Malone seconded, a motion to ratify the Mayor's appointment of <br /> Mr. Mark Stack, to the Public Works and Safety Committee. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (4-0). <br />I Mayor Probst noted an article in the Star and Tribune regarding affordable housing and Arden <br /> Hills seemed to rank well, he had the article for those interested in reading it. <br />I Superintendent Winkel noted the County is looking to rename T.H. 96, so anyone with ideas <br /> can submit names for suggestion to the County. <br />I <br />I e <br />I <br />
