I
I ·
. CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
I MEMORANDUM
I
DATE: March 15, 1995
I
TO: Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator
I FROM@ Terrance Post, City Accountant
I SUBJECT: Minimum Charges on Larger Sized Water Meters
I The Arden Hills City Council adopted Resolution #94-52 "Revising Water Utility Rates
Effective January 1, 1995" on October 10, 1994. This resolution only addressed the minimum
. charges on residential sized (generally smaller than 3/4 inch) meters.
I- Revised rates for larger sized water meters (1 inch to 12 inches) were inadvertently not included
on Resolution #94-52. Attached is a "Water and Sanitary Rate History" schedule which provides
recommendations for rate increases on the larger meter sizes. These recommended rate increases
I are consistent with prior year actions and attempt to maintain the pricing philosophy first
implemented on April 1, 1992,
I Recommendation
Staff recommends that Council consider adopting Resolution #95-23 at the March 27, 1995
Council meeting. This action would authorize a complete listing of 1995 water utility rates.
.
.
I
I
I
.-
I
--- -.-
