This is a premises permit renewal application. They have operated without incident at Flaherty's Arden Bowl for several years. They are seeking to extend II their pull-tabs operation for another two years from 811/95 until 7/31/97. 2. There is an executed lease between the organization and the lessor (Flahertys I Arden Bowl, Inc.). " A background check with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department has revealed .J. I nothing unusual. 4. The organization is primarily concerned with awarding college scholarships to I students in the "trade area" (see attached expenditure listing). It should be noted that the organization also contributed $5,000 to the NYFS agency in 1994. The I organization appears to be easily complying with the 50% trade area spending requirement. B. St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church I l. This is an initial premises permit application at the McGuires Ramada Inn location. The vacancy at this location was made possible by the previous premises I permit by the Shoreview Arden Hills Lions Club being discontinued by the Gambling Control Board on 3120/95. (See attached 4/28/95 letter). St. Mary's is seeking to conduct a pull-tabs operation at this site for one year from 7/1/95 until I 6/30/96. I. 2.
