PUBUC NOTICE <br />I Notice is hereby given that a public hellIing will be held by the Dakota County Board at <br /> Commissioners on the 2nd day ot May. 1995, at 9:00 AM in the County Board Room of the <br /> Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN, for the purpose of <br />I receiving comments from and passing information to the general public conceming the <br /> Consolidated Plan for the Dakota Co<mty Consortium (Anoka, Dakota, Ramsey, and Wa.shington <br /> Counties) which indudes proposed housing and commWlily development objectives and <br /> projected use of 1995 Dakota County CODG and HOME funds. <br />I The Consolidated Plan (CP) will replace the Comprehensive Housing Aifordability Strategy <br /> (CliAS). Its intent is to combine into a single submission the planning and application aspects of <br /> HVO's Community D<!velopment Bloc:k Grant (CDBG), Emergency Sheller Grant (ESG). HOME <br />I Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPW A) . <br /> formula programs with the requirements for <:HAS. The new submission will replace the current <br /> CliAS, the HOME program description, the Coaununity Development Plan, the CDBG final <br />I statement, and the ESG and HOPW A applications. The CP also consolidates the reporting <br /> requirements lor these programs, repla<:ing five general performance reports with one. <br /> The purpose of the submUsion is to <nable localities to examine their needs and design ways to <br />I address those needs that are appropriate to their circwnstances.
