ARDEN liIiLS CITY COUNCI!, - AfRIL 24. ] 994 7 <br />.- Mayor Probst congratulated Mr. Post for his contribution in representing the City regarding Water <br /> Utilities, the City's decision was upheld. <br />I Mayor Probst announced the League of Minnesota Cities' Conference and encouraged other <br /> Councilmembers to attend. He is planning on attending and believed it would be an opportunity to <br />. meet and work with cities in the northern metro area. <br /> Mayor Probst noted Northwest Youth and Family Services has a program on May 2, 1995 and has <br />I invited area Mayors and County Commissioners. If anyone is interested, please attend. <br /> Mayor Probst updated the Council regarding the recent TCAAP meeting. He believes after safety <br />I issues are addressed there will be 30% to 40% of the property available as excess. He noted this will <br /> impact the City's reuse plan. <br />I Mayor Probst indicated there are rumors regarding a Casino on the property and he wished to clarifY <br /> for the record, the City of Arden Hills has no information regarding this. There has been no proposal <br />I for a Casino brought to the City, no property has been bought and no new construction has begun. <br /> , <br /> Mayor Probst indicated the City's intent is to have our Planning Team establish a Comprehensive <br />.. Plan that is in the best interest of Arden Hills. <br /> Mayor Probst indicated he is confident in 45-60 days the City will be leading the process and <br />I providing its plan to the Reutilization Committee.
