Also present: Sheriff Bob Fletcher; Sergeant John Luey. <br /> . APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The Minutes of March 16, 1995, were approved as submitted. <br /> I NEW ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE <br /> .. Fletcher explained that four Undersheriffs will be appointed <br /> under the new structure. John Luey will take the position of <br /> Undersheriff in charge of the Patrol Division. DiCk Dornbusch <br /> will take the position of Support Services Undersheriff/Chief <br /> . Deputy. He will continue to work with the Contract Group <br /> relating to budget matters. Mike Roeser will be reappointed as <br /> Court Services Undersheriff. The Undersheriff in charge of <br /> Detention has not been selected. Jerry Bergeron will be the <br /> I Lieutenant in charge of Water Patrol, Reserve & Volunteer Units. <br /> Changes will take effect May 1, 1995. An Organizational Chart <br /> will be prepared and presented at next month's meeting. Sheriff <br /> I Fletcher offered to attend City Council / Town Board Meetings <br /> to explain the changes. <br /> . 1996 BUDGET ESTIMATES <br /> Dornbusch presented the 1996 budget estimates for training and <br /> equipment. The total training request is $~~,~80*, as follows: <br /> . Homicide & Major Case Investigation Course $ 2,500 <br /> Interrogation & Interview School 720 <br /> . Child Abuse Investigation 260 <br /> Dare Deputies Training Conference 2,700 <br /> Officer Survival Training 4,400 <br /> FTO Training 600 <br /> . (*note: an error was found in the total budget estimate report <br /> .. that was distributed - total request was listed as $8,480) <br /> . <br />
