County wide, 85 percent of the residential properties
I- have experienced a 5 percent or less increase in their market value from 1994 to
1995.
I Commercial/Industrial and Apartment properties have shown very little change in
their market values from 1994 to 1995. There are some indications that this
market is stabilizing. A number of commercial property owners will continue to
file appeals to have their market values reduced.
I As in the past years, taxpayers should follow the instructions on the back of the
market value notice if they believe their estimated market value is excessive.
I The following is summary information on overall percent market value changes
from 1994 to 1995 by major property type as established by the assessors office.
I These percent changes do not reflect new construction.
Overall All commercial/
I Prooerties Residential Industrial Aoartments
Ramsey county 1.3 2.3 -0.7 -0.3
I City of st.
