CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> . <br /> I MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: June 9, 1995 <br /> I TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> I FROM: Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator <br /> SUBJECT: Bethel Colle~e Tax Parcel Creation <br /> I Attached the Council will find a request from representatives of Bethel College requesting the <br /> I City create a new tax parcel for the property containing the Seminary Village apartment buildings. <br /> This request would allow the lender, Northern Life Insurance Company, to utilize this parcel as <br /> collateraVsecurity for a loan. <br /> I Currently, the campus as a whole is included in an existing Master Plan/PUD/SUP. Attorney Filla <br /> has reviewed this request and determined that a formal minor subdivision process is not required. <br /> I The request simply creates a new tax parcel that would still be required to comply with all <br /> conditions included in the existing Master Plan/PUD/SUP. <br /> Ie The Council needs to give formal approval of the request for new tax identification number. <br /> Finance Director Post has discussed this with Ramsey County who will not formalize the request <br /> I until the Council considers the request. <br /> Recommendation <br /> I Staff recommends the Council direct Ramsey County to create an additional tax identification <br /> number for the property identified by the College affecting the Seminary Village area. <br /> I Enclosure <br /> I BF\jt <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Ie <br /> I <br />
