CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> RESOLUTION 95-55 <br />I A RESOLUTION FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br /> PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 462C, AS AMENDED <br />I WHEREAS, a proposal has been made to this Council by Presbyterian Homes of <br /> Minnesota, Inc. A Minnesota nonprofit corporation ("PHM"), that PHM or <br /> an affiliated nonprofit corporation (referred to herein in the alternative as <br />I the "Corporation"), undertake a project (the "Project") pursuant to a <br /> housing program developed under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C, as <br />I amended (the "Act"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Project consists of the acquisition and construction of improvements, <br />I including site improvements, to the Corporation's existing facilities for the <br /> elderly, located at 3220 Lake Johanna Boulevard in the City of Arden <br /> Hills, including rental housing facilities for seniors, assisted-living <br />I facilities and skilled nursing facilities, together with the refinancing of <br /> existing indebtedness incurred with respect thereto (all collectively <br /> referred to as the "Project"); and <br />I WHEREAS, the Act requiries this Council to conduct a public hearing on the Project <br />l- and the related housing program developed therefor and to publish notice <br /> of said public hearing not less than 15 days prior to the date fixed for the <br /> hearing; and <br />I WHEREAS, the said housing program shall be submitted to the metropolitan council <br /> for review and comment on or before the day on which notice of the public <br />I hearing is published. <br />I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Arden Hills, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br />I I. A public hearing shall be conducted by this Council on the housing program and <br /> the Project on August 14,1995, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the New Brighton City <br /> Hall, at which hearing all parties who appear shall be given an opportunity to <br />I express their views with respect to said proposal. <br /> 2. Notice setting forth the time and place of hearing, the general nature of the Project <br />I and the related housing program and an estimate of the principal amount of bonds <br /> or other obligations to be issued shall be published at least once not less than 15 <br /> days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, in a newspaper of general circulation <br />I of the City. <br />I- <br />I <br /> - <br />
