CHAPTERS 1 & 2 - Mayor Probst indicated that he and each Councilmember should receive five chapters of - the Municipal Code per month to proofand'make corrections. They would then in turn discuss changes at future 1995 Worksession Meetings. After completion of the Sessions a retreat would be scheduled to firm up the changes. - 3-d. DISCUSSION OF HIGHWAY 96 IMPROVEMENTS Park and Recreation Director. Cindy Walsh, advised the staff on the current status of . Highway 96. The Highway 96 group meets every Monday. She indicated that Arden . Hills must be more agressive with their plans and communicate more directly to the County. The Highway will be four (4) lanes, running from White Bear Lake to New Brighton. I Among the issues to be determined are; left. hand lanes, street lighting and landscaping. Councilmember Hicks indicated he would be pleased if the Highway 96 median/divider .. was landscaped. 3-e. AIKEN DRAINAGE . City Administrator, Brian Fritsinger, indicated that the necessary elevations exist for . regrading at this residence. Mayor Probst indicated that photos and a log of the progress be initated during the process to ensure that further problems do not occur. ADMINISTRATORlDEPARTMENT HEAD COMMENTS . City Administrator, Brian Fritsinger, discussed the Berger letter with concern's . regarding the stucco problem on his home. Mr. Fritsinger indicated after conversations with the City Attorney the City was not negligent or liable to the homeowner for this . problem. Information was given to all participants of the Worksession regarding the Shoreview/ . University of Minnesota land sale. COUNCIL COMMENTS . Mayor Probst initiated a discussion of TCAAP. He indicated that we, as a City, must be .. more agressive in our pursuit of the Arsenal property. . -
