The I <br /> residents had hoped the Council would take the word of those who live there regarding the solution . <br /> to traffic issues. <br /> City Administrator fritsinger noted he had spoken with the Ramsey County Sheriff's department . <br /> and they will be using their S.M~A.R.T. unit to help address the concerns of the residents and once <br /> the speed limits are posted will increase enforcement activity~ <br /> Ms. Gloria Stenglein, 1785 West County Road F, suggested the Council monitor the traffic at . <br /> Mounds View High School. <br /> ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS . <br /> Upcoming Meetings. I <br /> City Administrator fritsinger noted for Council intormation upcoming meetings on <br /> September 11 th and October 9th. I <br /> Pioneer Press Article regarding TCAAP and the casino issue. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger noted the Pioneer Press article included in the Council packet regarding -. <br /> TCAAP and potential issues. He noted he would be following up with a letter explaining the <br /> City's current position regarding the TCAAP reutilization. He will also be monitoring <br /> upcoming legislation. . <br /> Capital Improvements Budget Request <br /> Mr. fritsinger noted in the Capital Improvement budget, a 112 ton two wheel drive pickup . <br /> was budgeted. He noted the Public Works Superintendent, Stafford, has requested a change <br /> to a 3/4 ton four wheel drive vehicle. <br /> Public Works Superintendent Stafford indicated he had found a 3/4 ton pickup for a slightly I <br /> higher price than allocated for the 1/2 ton pickup. He felt this would be better use of the <br /> City's monies, because the 3/4 ton pickup can also be used for snow removal. I <br /> Mr. Fritsinger noted Staff will be coming with more formal requests in the future regarding . <br /> the pickup. <br /> MNDOT Property I <br /> Mr. fritsinger indicated he had given the Council information regarding the MNDOT <br /> property and welcomed any comments. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS . <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski thanked the Staff for the card wishing her well during her surgery. -. <br /> . <br />
