NEW BUSINESS-5A <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: March 19, 2024 <br />TO: Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee <br />FROM: Kerri Seemann <br />SUBJECT: Newsletter Item <br />Background <br />The city approved the plan to have goats brought into Chatham Trails Park in the fall of 2023 and <br />spring of 2024 to help manage buckthorn. The goats will be returning in June. I believe that it <br />would be beneficial if there were a note in the city’s newsletter prior to June to make residents <br />aware of the goats so that they can visit the park while they’re there.
