(a) Return-to-Duty Alcohol Test. The City shall ensure that before a driver returns to I <br /> 309 duty requiring the performance of a safety function after engaging in conduct <br /> prohibited by federal law or this policy concerning alcohol, the driver shall <br /> undergo a return-to-duty alcohol test with a result indicating an alcohol I <br /> concentration ofless than 0.02. <br /> 382. (b) Return to Dutv Controlled Substance Test. The City shall ensure that before a I <br /> 309 driver returns to duty requiring the performance of a safety sensitive function after <br /> engaging in conduct prohibited by federal law or this policy concerning controlled <br /> substances, the driver shall undergo a return-to-duty controlled substance test with I <br /> a result indicating a verified negative result for controlled substance use. <br /> Follow-up Testing I <br /> 382. (a) Follow-up Alcohol and/or Controlled Substance Test. Following a determination <br /> 311 that a driver is in need of assistance in resolving problems associated with alcohol -I <br /> misuse and/or use of controlled substances, the City shall ensure that the driver is <br /> subject to unannounced follow-up alcohol and/or controlled substance testing as <br /> directed by a substance abuse professional in accordance with the federal law. I <br /> . <br /> 382. (b) Timini;': of Follow-up to Alcohol Test. Follow-up alcohol testing shall be <br /> 311 conducted only while the driver is performing safety sensitive functions, just I <br /> before the driver is to perform safety sensitive functions, just after the driver has <br /> ceased performing such safety sensitive functions or while the driver is in a state <br /> of readiness to perform safety sensitive functions. I <br /> 6. SPECIMEN COLLECTION PROCEDURES <br /> (a) The collection site person shall instruct the driver to provide at least 60ml of urine . <br /> under the split sample method of collection. <br /> 40.25 (b) I <br /> (t)(10) The City is required to use the "split sample" method of collection for drivers. <br /> Split Specimen Procedure for Controlled Substance Testing.
