Parks and Recreation Committee Report <br /> The Parks and Recreation Committee will be present to meet with the Council. <br /> . b. Creation of Economic Develooment Authority lEDA) <br /> Attached, the Council will find information related to the creation of a local EDA. <br /> . The formation of this body has been discussed throughout the past year. With the <br /> conclusion of the planning efforts at TCAAP, the EDA could be a valuable asset <br /> .. in implementing parts of the proposed plan. <br /> c. Economic Development Committee Report <br /> The EDC will be present to meet with the Council. One of the items the Council <br /> . will need to recognize is the potential relationship between the EDA and EDC. <br /> Staff would recommend these bodies be separate with the Council acting as the <br /> EDA and the EDC possibly becoming a subcommittee. <br /> . d. Human Rights Committee Report <br /> I The Human Rights Committee will be present to meet with the Council. <br /> e. Utility Rate Studv <br /> . <br /> . Mr. Post would like to review some issues in regards to a local Utility Rate Study. <br /> f. Drul: Testinl! <br /> . The Council should bring the packet of materials addressing this subject which <br /> were provided as part of the December 11, 1995 Council Agenda packet. Staff <br /> would like to review this program with the Council prior to the December 26, <br /> . 1995, meeting. <br /> . <br /> .e <br /> . <br /> -- --- <br />
