<br />30 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF mE REGUIAR lIEETING OF 'IRE COUIDIL OF THE <br />VILIAGE OF aDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />Held in the !!!Own Hall on Monday, July 30, 1951 <br /> <br />(Note: Because the June regnlar meeting was adjourned before the <br />regnlar order of business was concluded, this meeting started where it left <br />off.) <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M. by Mayor Cummings. <br /> <br />. Clummings, McClung and Doepner were present, Mack and DeLange absent <br />at the roll call. A quorum being present, the council proceeded with the <br />transaction of business as follows: <br /> <br />The clerk read the mi~tes of the previous meeting, and by motion of <br />Cummings seconded by McClung they were approved as read. <br /> <br />DeLange and Mack appeared at 8:23 P.ll. <br /> <br />Mr. Carley eubmittedtwo copies of the final plat of "Re-Arrangement <br />of Block 11, Arden Hills, NO.3,. now entitled "Arden Hills No..~, Arden Hills <br />& Rosenlle, 1linnesota." :McClung moved and DeLange seconded a mc)tiol:l. to approve <br />the plat and to authori~e the clerk to sign the same; motion carried, and <br />thereupon the clerk signed both copies. Mr. Carley stated that he would <br />furnish the village with a phCltostatic copy of the fiml plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Carley then presented two copies of the final plat of the proposed <br />"Zilliox Plat" wi th a profile drawing of the 'roads for approval; when the clerk <br />pointed out that wet areas were not shown on the plat as required by law, nor <br />evidence of title and road proposal not fUrnished, no action On the approval was <br />taken by the council and JIfr. Carley was told by the Mayor that the council would <br />hold a special meeting if necessary when Mr. Carley indicated that he was ready <br />there for. <br /> <br />The Clerk then read the following claims: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1>>1.. Miller-Davis Company - for J. of P. docket sheets cI: A,..Z index <br />32 .. Walter S. Booth cI: Son - for verified account and licensing forms <br />33 - Don's Corner (Don E. Gribble) for constables' gas purchases for <br />6/2~ to 6/30 inclusive . <br />34 - Melvin Hurlbert, :Bu.ilding Inspector - for 901- of JUly permits <br />Nos. 17-21 incl. totalling $64.50 <br />35 .. Charles Olson cI: Sons, 1m. - 2 sirens for constables' cars <br />36 - Northwest Publi cations, Inc. - Notice of weed law publication, <br />Friday J[spatoh 6/8/51 <br /> <br />$ 8.26 <br />6.37 <br /> <br />11.12 <br /> <br />58.05 <br />~3.63 <br />5.00 <br /> <br />By motion of McClung seconded by Mack the said claims were approved for payment. <br /> <br />Mack reported that Don D. Wozniak, attorney, declined to reduce his <br />claim for legal services in cOllIJection with the incorporation of the village; by <br />motion of Mack, seconded by De,pner, the council approved his claim (#37) to be <br />worded as followSl "For all work done on both incorporation petitions and for all <br />work do.ll8 on the elections;" motion carried. Mack stated that Mr. Wozniak does <br />not expect payment until 1952 and that no interest will be ciharged. <br />
