30 MINUTES OF mE REGUIAR lIEETING OF 'IRE COUIDIL OF THE VILIAGE OF aDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA Held in the !!!Own Hall on Monday, July 30, 1951 (Note: Because the June regnlar meeting was adjourned before the regnlar order of business was concluded, this meeting started where it left off.) The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M. by Mayor Cummings. . Clummings, McClung and Doepner were present, Mack and DeLange absent at the roll call. A quorum being present, the council proceeded with the transaction of business as follows: The clerk read the mi~tes of the previous meeting, and by motion of Cummings seconded by McClung they were approved as read. DeLange and Mack appeared at 8:23 P.ll. Mr. Carley eubmittedtwo copies of the final plat of "Re-Arrangement of Block 11, Arden Hills, NO.3,. now entitled "Arden Hills No..~, Arden Hills & Rosenlle, 1linnesota." :McClung moved and DeLange seconded a mc)tiol:l. to approve the plat and to authori~e the clerk to sign the same; motion carried, and thereupon the clerk signed both copies. Mr. Carley stated that he would furnish the village with a phCltostatic copy of the fiml plat. Mr. Carley then presented two copies of the final plat of the proposed "Zilliox Plat" wi th a profile drawing of the 'roads for approval; when the clerk pointed out that wet areas were not shown on the plat as required by law, nor evidence of title and road proposal not fUrnished, no action On the approval was taken by the council and JIfr. Carley was told by the Mayor that the council would hold a special meeting if necessary when Mr. Carley indicated that he was ready there for. The Clerk then read the following claims: . 1>>1.. Miller-Davis Company - for J. of P. docket sheets cI: A,..Z index 32 .. Walter S. Booth cI: Son - for verified account and licensing forms 33 - Don's Corner (Don E. Gribble) for constables' gas purchases for 6/2~ to 6/30 inclusive . 34 - Melvin Hurlbert, :Bu.ilding Inspector - for 901- of JUly permits Nos. 17-21 incl. totalling $64.50 35 .. Charles Olson cI: Sons, 1m. - 2 sirens for constables' cars 36 - Northwest Publi cations, Inc. - Notice of weed law publication, Friday J[spatoh 6/8/51 $ 8.26 6.37 11.12 58.05 ~3.63 5.00 By motion of McClung seconded by Mack the said claims were approved for payment. Mack reported that Don D. Wozniak, attorney, declined to reduce his claim for legal services in cOllIJection with the incorporation of the village; by motion of Mack, seconded by De,pner, the council approved his claim (#37) to be worded as followSl "For all work done on both incorporation petitions and for all work do.ll8 on the elections;" motion carried. Mack stated that Mr. Wozniak does not expect payment until 1952 and that no interest will be ciharged.
