Meeting called to order at 8:1.5 P.M. by MIlJor Oummings. . All counoilmen exoept Maok present. There being a qQorum present the meeting prooeeded with the transaction of business as follows: Minutes of the September 24th meeting were approved as read by the olerk. By motion of McClung seoonded by Doepner the following olaims were approved for payment: 147 - Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Dept. - on aooount of fire proteoti on $230.90 ;'48 - Spring Lake Park Fire Dept. - aoot. of fire proteotion .230.90 ~.52 - First State Bank, New Brighton, Minn. - imprinting cks. 6.87 .53 - Carl F. Bu.oher - for 2 gallons 2-4-D weed killer 10.00 #.54 - B. J.DeLange - spraying weeds 8.12 By motion of Cummings seoonded by Delange the following resolution was passed unanimously by the oouncil: "RESOLVED and approved that a 19.51 tax levy of $15.300.00 (Fifteen . '!housand Duee Hundred and nO/lOO Dollars) colleoti ble wi th general taxes in 19.52 for the general tax fund for operation of the govern- ment of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, be oertified to the County .mdi tor for tax levy for said village."
