<br />The meeting was called to order promptly by Mayor Cummings.
<br />

<br />ROLL C.iLL: Cummings, Doepner, McClung, Mack present, DeLange
<br />absent. Titere being a quorum present, the council proceeded with trans-
<br />action of the business as follows:
<br />
<br />Minu.tes of the Jarmary 2nd meeting of the council were aPproved
<br />as read by the clerk.
<br />
<br />FIN1l.NCIAL STATEJriIENT: The Clerk read the Financial Statement for
<br />the year ended December 31, 1951. It was agreed to list D. D. Wozniak's
<br />unpaid approved Claim #37 for $450.00 as -Deferred claim- under Schedule
<br />4, Indebtedness. Thereupon by motion of McClung, secollded by Yack, the
<br />Financial Statement for the period ended Dec. 31, 1951 was approved as sub-
<br />mitted by the clerk for publication the last week of Janu.ary.
<br />
<br />TOWII BOARD MEETING: The council authorized the clerk to contact
<br />the Town Board for a joint meeting during the first week in February to con-
<br />clude the apportionment of town funds.
<br />
<br />CLil.ILlS: By motion of Hack, seconded by ]JcClung, the following
<br />claims, included in the foregoing financial statement, were approved for
<br />payment:

<br />#11 - Harold Grudnoske, snow removal &; janitor services
<br />#12 - County of Ramsey, road work 11/26/51 - 12/25/51

<br />ROB.D aiID BRIDGE NND APPORTION11ENT: For information of the council
<br />the clerk read Resolution from the County Board apportioning the $40,000 fund
<br />among county municipalities, of which the Village of Arden Hills was allotted
<br />the amount of $1,474.21, ~~nds View Twp. $5,637.86, etc.

<br />EIEC'lRIC PJl.TES: For information of the council the clerk read
<br />letter dated .Tanuary9, 1952 from the Horthern States Power Company, trans-
<br />mitting rate changes on regular meter readings on and after March 1, 1952r
<br />served on him .ranuary 9th, 1952. "The new rate schedules are for Residential
<br />Service, Commercial Service, and Co~rcial Heating and Cooking Service.
<br />The rate for Controlled Water Heating Service is not being changed at this
<br />time, and the rate for General Power Service is wi thdrawn and replaced by
<br />the new rate for Commercial Service." -These schedules are subject to re-
<br />vision from time to time."

<br />the council approved the following bonds submitted by the clerk:
