Snell and l4cllaniel appeared <br />for the Nbrthern States Power Co., also present were .John J. Sexton, Chairman <br />~ the Mayor's Planning and Advisory Committee, Bu.ilding Inspector Hurlbert, and <br />Irvin J. Orton, owner of land south of Hwy. 100. '.!hs mayor read the first para.- <br />graph of the Planning Comlni ttee's report dated July 22nd, signed by the chairman, <br />which "recommends that the Arden Hills Cou.ncil ohange from farm ZOIle to illdu.strial <br />zone for Northern States Power use the property (in question); the board further <br />recommends that Northern States Power Oompa~ guarantee the planting of trees to <br />beautifY the property.- ~e two POWer Co. representatives stated they would <br />furnish the village with a letter assuring the beautification in a manner satis- <br />factory to the council, and that the COmpSD3 will not sell the rezoned property <br />for other industrial purposes; thereupon by motion of Mack, which was seconded, <br />the council passed the following resolution: <br /> <br />"RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"llESOLVED that the Illhition dated June 30, 19.52 of Frank <br />.
