<br />105 <br /> <br />MI1\1UTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />COUNCIL OF TIill VILLAGE OF JU~DEN HILLS <br />January 2, 1953 <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />The Meetinp; vms called to order at e: 22 P.M. by acting- <br />mayor, McClung, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Mack, DeLange, lc!cClung and Ludlow <br />Absent - CUTI:lings <br /> <br />New officers were sworn in.by Walter T. Mack, trustee <br />as follows: Shirley D. Ludlow, as clerk, otto Graffunder as <br />justice of the peace, ~ Jerome T. Wasielewski as constable <br />and b. J. DeLange as trustee. <br /> <br />By motion of Mack, seconded by DeLange the following <br />resolution passed unanimously, <br /> <br />"Resolution" <br /> <br />WhereBf., we the council, deem it necessary that acting- <br />mayor, K. R. McClung, be duly authorized to sign all Village <br />of Arden Hills' checks in the absence of the mayor; therefore, <br /> <br />Resolved, That the First State Bank of New Brighton honor <br />any checks bearing Mr. McClung's signature as acting-mayor. <br /> <br />The clerk was instructed to send a copy of the above re- <br />solution to the First State Bank of New Brighton. <br /> <br />Mack then moved and DeLange seconded a motion that <br />K. R. McClung should continue on as acting-mayor for the year <br />1953. The motion carried. <br /> <br />DeLaRge moved the meeting be adjourned. Motion for ad- <br />journment was seconded by Mack.
