'ter`. <br />EN HILLS <br />ORDINANCE NO.2024-007 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13, <br />OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY CODE <br />CONCERNING AN EVENT CENTER USE <br />IN THE B-2 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 13 — Zoning Code, Section 1305 — Rules, Scope, Interpretation, & <br />Definitions, Subsection 1305.04, is hereby amended by adding the underlined language as follows: <br />Event Center. An establishment which is rented by individuals or groups to host scheduled <br />private events including but not limited to weddings, cultural celebrations, corporate functions, <br />and banquets. Such use ma,, or not include 1) kitchen facilities for the preparation or catering <br />of food; 2) the sale of alcoholic beverages for on -premises consumption only during scheduled <br />events and not open to the general public; and 3) outdoor gardens, patios or outdoor ate hexing <br />areas. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 13 — Zoning Code, Section 1320 — District Provisions, Subsection <br />1320.05 — Land Use Chart, is hereby amended by replacing the chart in its entirety as follows: <br />1320.05 Land Use Chart. <br />See attached Attachment "A" for the Land Use Chart with the addition of "Event Center" <br />as a Conditional Use in the B-2 Zoning District. <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 13 — Zoning Code, Section 1320 — District Provisions, Subsection <br />1320.085 — Special Requirements for the B-2 General Business District, is hereby amended by <br />adding a Subdivision 6 as follows: <br />Subd. 6 Event Center Additional Conditional Use Permit Criteria. <br />A. In addition to meetingthe he requirements of Section 1325 and 1355.04 Subd 4, event centers <br />shall conform to the following: <br />1.
