<br />122 <br /> <br />Page #2 <br /> <br />Minutes o~ Regular Meeting o~ the Council of the Village o~ <br />Arden Hills, Minnesota, Monday, June 29, 1953. <br /> <br />a warrant be sworn out against the Colberts - Mc Clung and <br />C11JTIJ'1ings voted afrirmatively, nack contrary - carried. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Justice of the Peace, Graf~under, suggested that a Tra~fic <br />Bureau be set un . The matter was referred to the Committee on <br />Public Safety. . <br /> <br />The Village Attorney reported the Curfew Ordinance adequate, but <br />stated that it contained no provision ~or penalizing minors. <br /> <br />The Council decided to readvertise ~or bids on dust coating the <br />roads of the Village; Copies of the notice are to be sent to <br />all road contractors. De Lange moved and Mc Clung seconded a <br />motion that a special meeting be called for 8:00 P.M. Monday, <br />July 13, 1953 -carried. <br /> <br />The Justices o~ the Peace submitted their reports. <br /> <br />Claims #338 & #342 - #359 inclusive were read by the clerk. <br />De Lange moved and Mc Clung seconded a motion that all claims <br />be approved - carried. <br /> <br />De Lange read a letter from David Norton stating that the <br />road was waShing down onto his lots in Arden'Hills #3. The <br />Road commissioner is to look into the matter. <br /> <br />De Lange reported' on a bad stretch of road o~f County Road F <br />on Valentine Road. Mack moved and'Ludlow seconded a motion <br />the road be made passable. carried. <br /> <br />Ch. of the Public Sa~ety Committee, Mc Clung, made a motion <br />that the salary and car allowance of the police officers be <br />raised to $125.00 per mo. until Nov. Ist.,that the police <br />chief be authorized to purchase 4 blankets and a lock metal <br />cabinet ~or each of~icer at a naximum cost o~ $40.00 per <br />cabinet. Mack secOnded the motion, and it carried. George <br />Salitros is to check into the priceo~ monitors to be used <br />in the homes of the police of~icers. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The food and soft"drink license application of Adam Bona was <br />read by the clerk. Ludlow moved and Mack seconded a motion <br />the licenses be issued - carried. <br /> <br />Melvin Hurlbert requested that the Village have ~orms made ~or <br />building and electrical inspection. Mack moved and De Lange <br />a motion that the inspectors order the forms needed - carried. <br />
