<br />124 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />COUNCIL OF 'rIfE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILIS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Monday, July 13, 1953. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at ~:03 P.M. by Mayor Cummings. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Cummings, De Lange, Me Clung, Ludlow present: Mack <br />absent. There being a quorum present, the council proceeded <br />with transactions of business as follows: <br /> <br />The bids for dust coating the roads of the Village were opened <br />and read by the clerk. After discussion Ludlow moved and Mc Clung <br />seconded a motion that all bids be rejected - carried. <br /> <br />An estimate made by Ramsey County on the cost of dust coating the <br />roads was discussed, and Mc Clnng moved and Ludlow seconded a <br />motion that the Ch. of Public Works be authorized to have the <br />County proceed with blading and oiling the Village roads. carried. <br />Cummings moved and Me Clung seconded a motion that Ch. De Lange <br />be paid $2.50 per hr. for supervising the road Bork.- carried. <br /> <br />~~ayor Cummings read an opinion front Attorney General Burnquist <br />regarding the use of sirens & lights on private cars. <br /> <br />Ludlow moved and De 'Lange seconded a motion that the meeting be <br />adjourned - carried. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M. <br /> <br />~.2'~~.
