Absent: De Lange <br /> The minutes of the meeting of October 26, 1953 were read by the <br /> clerk, Mack moved and 1-1c Clung seconded a motion the minutes be <br /> approved as read - carried, <br /> Mr. Chandler, Ch, of Moundsview To~~ Board, presented an agree- <br /> ment relative to the buiillding, renting and use of a new town hall, <br /> such agreement to be entered irto by the Village of Arden Hills <br /> vrith Moundsview Township. After discussion the Council decided <br /> they could not siQn the agreement. <br /> Mr. Kenneth Goserud of 1133 W. County Rd. D. asked the Council <br /> to see that County Rd, D was plowed this winter. He was advised <br /> to have protrUding branches and logs removed so the snow plow <br /> could handle the job, <br /> Public Safety' - After discussion of the various spots within <br /> the Villege believed to be danp;erous to children, Mc Clung moved <br /> and LudloVI seconded a motion authorizin" the road commissioner <br /> to purchase as many warning signs as are necessary to protect <br /> tree children of the Village from speeding motorists - carried, <br /> Signs are specifically to be placed at the fOllowing points: <br /> 1) Lake Johanna Blvd. south of Ashbacks <br /> 2 ) Forest Lane from Snelling <br /> 3) Edgewater on Lake Josephine <br /> The clerk notified the Council of the receipt of the resignation <br /> of Georpe W. Salitros, Constable, as a police officer, Mc Clung <br /> moved and Hack seconded a motion the Council accept the reSig- <br /> nation of ~olice Officer Salitros effective as of November 30, <br /> 1953 - carried, Me Clung moved and LUdlow seconded 11 motion <br /> Qiving Police Officer WasielewskillOO salary and 150 car allow- <br /> ance for the month of' December. . , <br /> -carried. <br /> A letter fro"l Eugene Monick was road rersuording the appointment <br />. to the Hamsey County Planning COT1Inission. Ec Clung moved and <br /> LudloVl seconded a "lotion appointing Walter Mack for a four year <br /> term to the Ramce.'f County Planning Commission - carried. <br /> HAck moved and Ec Clunr; seconded a motion ratif'yin" the action <br /> of the clerk in ]Josti.np: nOCl.ces of' th.e VillaCse election - cnrried. <br />
