He stated that previous diffi- <br />culties have been re'noved, and that nothinp; now stood in the wa,' <br />of his performing his (luties as a police officer for the Villflge. <br />Mc Clung moved and Lunlovl secondea a motion reinstating JAr. Salitros <br />as a Police Officer for the Village at a'salary of ~75.00 per mo. <br />with a car allow8nce of 350.00 - carried. <br /> <br />Installation of generators in the C8rs belonging to the police <br />officers was discm;sed. Mc Clunf'; moved and Ashback seconded a <br />motion authorizing Victor Weber, member of the COm:rJ.ittee on Public <br />Safety, to purchase two heavy duty generators for installation in <br />the Dolice Officers' cars at a cost not to exceed ~lOO.OO aniece - <br />carried. ' . <br /> <br />Mc Clung moved and Ashback secoDden a motion continuing Police <br />Officer, Wasielev!ski, at a salary of ~\75.00 and a car allowance <br />of ~~50.00 per mo. - CarriHd. <br /> <br />The matter of purchaf'ing playp;round'sites for the Villap;e was <br />discussed by the Council ana the Ch. of Public Welfare, Mr. Mack, <br />was instructed to check into the possible locations. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A letter from Senator Humphrey was read by the Mayor. Sena,tor <br />HUl'lphrey promised all possible aid in securing addition tax <br />revenue from the Federal Cartrru;e Corp. at ]\few Brip:hton. <br /> <br />The Mayor made committee assignments for the year 1954. <br />
