ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION — July 10, 2024 <br />20 <br />The motion carried 5-1 (Commissioner Biorklund opposed). <br />UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br />None. <br />REPORTS <br />A. Report from the City Council <br />Councilmember Rousseau provided the Commission with an update from the City Council. She <br />invited the Commission members to attend the commission picnic on Tuesday, July 16. <br />B. Planning Commission Comments and Requests <br />Commissioner Bjorklund stated the Commission had talked in the past about the lack of <br />affordable housing in the City and what to do about it. He wanted to see this topic on a Planning <br />Commission worksession agenda in the future for further discussion. He supported the City <br />allowing ADU's in residential neighborhoods. <br />Community Development Director Jagoe indicated staff was waiting for direction from the City <br />Council before moving this item forward. <br />The Commission requested Councilmember Rousseau speak with the City Council regarding <br />ADU's. <br />ADJOURN <br />Commissioner Mitchell moved, seconded by Commissioner Blilie, to adiourn the July 10, <br />2024, Planning Commission Meeting at 10:54 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br />
